Plastic Injection
We use a 1300‑ton injection molding process to form the backrest, seat, armrests, and base of every MSDA chair from PP, PA, and TPU materials.
Five Steps from Pellet to Part
Every plastic component follows MSDA's standardized 5-step injection process, from mold preparation and material dosing to final quality check, ensuring consistency across every batch.
Raw Materials
We never use recycled PP. Every PP part starts with virgin, glass-fiber-reinforced engineering resin—chosen for impact strength, dimensional stability, and long-term fatigue resistance.
Polypropylene + Glass Fiber
Use: Backrest frames, seat shells, headrests, armrest tops
Feature:~30% cost saving vs. wood-frame alternatives
Nylon + Glass Fiber
Use:Five-star bases, mechanical chassis covers, structural hubs
Feature:Higher impact strength and heat resistance than PP
Thermoplastic Polyurethane
Use:Armrests pads, elastic backrests
Feature: Rubber elasticity, skin like feeling
MSDA's testing program runs first-piece approval plus batch-level strength verification on injection parts. We don't just meet BIFMA, we build to a tighter internal standard.
